It is proposed a house that takes advantage of the privilege landscape where is located, using traditional and not conventional materials but not renouncing to be functional and highly efficient in consumption resources.

Located on the hillside of a Valley, in the surroundings of Cangas del Narcea. Down the house, meadows extend towards the valley. Up the house, a deep forest of chestnut trees. Slate stone, corten steel and glass are the material chosen to integrate it and qualify it in the area.

It is proposed a house that takes advantage of the privilege landscape where is located, using traditional and not conventional materials but not renouncing to be functional and highly efficient in consume resources.

It is set out an elongated house in the high part of the site, placed in the flattest position, acting as a border between meadows and forest, character which is also manifested in volume in to a corresponding couple of elongated pieces: one bigger and lighter, with curved roof and short walls in corten steel and glass façade and
a smaller volume with slate pitched roof and exterior wall.

The main program remains in ground floor. The access and staircase divides the plan into the private area: bedrooms and the public area: the dining room and terrace, both parts facing the valley views. The entrance stripe gathers servicing areas: bathrooms and kitchen. The penthouse is a loft which faces towards the forest. The garage is in the basement making easier the access by car.
