High Resolution Hospital

The proposed High Resolution Hospital of Lucena, seeks to be a pleasant and friendly space for its users, understanding the importance of the internal spaces of waiting and circulation, which make easy the orientation and tour of the building and provide comfortable spaces for the times waiting, close to the corresponding consultations and with plenty of natural light.

The Center is built in two large volumes with a square floor plan and a third upper rectangular volume that is located on the ground plan, above the other two at its intersection. The first two settle on different levels and partially overlap each other step by step, following the slope of the plot.

The building is divided in two large volumes of square floor connected by a third elongated volume that is placed, in plan, between both, and serves as an entrance and distributor hall to direct users .

The building has two levels, the upper one that houses the main public access and that has the consultation and hospitalization areas and the lower level, which is more restricted, where emergencies, surgical block and imaging are located in one half and all the services part general, on the other, being in the central part the cafeteria and the auditorium, as elements of relationship with the higher level.
