The intervention seeks to optimize transit flows through the expansion of processing areas, the increase of vehicular capacity, and the reduction of operational times. At the same time, it proposes a reconfiguration of the public realm aimed at enhancing the experience of users and workers, integrating principles of well-being, comfort, and efficiency. In this way, the island is redefined as a contemporary model of programmatic hybridity, where the coexistence of transport systems, logistic areas, and commercial spaces is articulated in a flexible manner, with the ambition of becoming an international benchmark in border infrastructure
