An integral refurbishment is proposed for this singular building located on Paseo de la Castellana.

Surrounded by tall buildings, it has the uniqueness of being a horizontal building, with a single façade, since the other is attached to the ground, like a step.

Several strategies are proposed to revalue a building with an excellent location, but practically hidden. At the level of the main façade on Paseo de la Castellana, some ribs serve to protect the sun from the west and support a vertical garden on the façade, generating a powerful rhythm by emphasizing the horizontality of the building. These elements have continuity on the roof, serving as pergolas to create a large terrace that uses a current roof, and takes advantage of the distant views to the west.

Furthermore, the proposal proposes creating an entrance to Serrano Street, which is currently lacking, allowing a visual connection to be established inside between both facades and announcing the building through a representative entrance, with a stagger accompanied by sheets of water. These stairs also provide natural light on a part of the building until now without light and with a residual character and which will be transformed into attractive work spaces.
